Central Scheduler

Adirondack Oral Surgery is seeking a full-time (36 – 40 hours per week) outstanding, friendly, articulate, hard working Central Scheduler to complete our call center team.  Preference will be given to candidates with healthcare or health insurance call center experience or candidates with experience in scheduling surgical procedures.

Our practice is busy and high volume. The ability to multitask and work as a team member is vital.  The Central Scheduler must be a team player, organized, knowledgeable about the scope of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, and able to communicate well over the phone with the patient, doctor and external referral sources. He or she should find out what the patient’s and referral office’s needs are, provide for the needs accurately, politely, and enthusiastically, and strive to go beyond the need in order to provide exceptional customer service.

Implant Coordinator
The Implant Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of treatment for implant patients and for bridging communication between our specialty office and the referring doctor. The incumbent needs to have excellent people and communications skills and will be working closely with our doctor’s organizing our implant cases and ordering supplies.
